The Department of Physics at the Faculty of Mathematics and Physics (FMF) at the University of Ljubljana is located in the beautiful city of Ljubljana, capital of Slovenia (www.slovenia.info/en). The faculty has it roots in 1919 and has since then established research in a number of fields (www.fmf.uni-lj.si/en/research). You will be working in collaboration with the research groups of Rainer Kaltenbaek (experiments) and Marko Toroš (theory) in the fields of quantum optics and levitated optomechanics.
