Our ambition is to realize a world wide quantum internet, connecting few qubit quantum processors using long distance quantum communication links. In 2020, we aim to have the first demonstration network connecting several cities in the Netherlands. We are now looking for two exceptional postdoctoral researchers to join us in this endeavour.

You should become part of our team, if one of the following applies to you:

Topics:

  • Coherent energy transport in molecular systems, oriented towards clean energy applications
  • Coherent information manipulation using molecules, oriented towards quantum computing

Apply at your earliest convenience!

Context:
As part of a French IDEX (Initiatives d'Excellence) program, the Université Grenoble Alpes (UGA) is funding a project on quantum computing, QuEnG.

Do you feel that there are fundamental questions in quantum information theory which are not receiving enough attention? Is there a technical difficulty that you encounter over and over in the course of your research?
Those are not your problems only: they are our problems, too. Share them with the community and help quantum information science grow!

We are seeking for a PhD student (stipend 4500 PLN netto) and a master student (stipend 1500 PLN netto). The positions are founded form the project "Quantum information with restricted resources: classical simulation, extensions to universality and applications to cryptography and sensing" awarded by Foundation for Polish Science.
