Nanomedicine and Nanobiotechnology have tremendous potential for tomorrow’s patient care in a broad variety of disease management, and numerous theoretical concepts are currently translated into preclinical and clinical studies. The fifth edition of the ICONAN conference brings together high-profile plenary speakers and world-class researchers who have successfully developed and translated nanomedicines over the last decades, offering a vibrant platform for oral and poster presentations, sponsor exhibits, and networking.

The Quantum Information group (Department of Computer Science, Paderborn University, Germany) in the Faculty for Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Mathematics is seeking a:
Research Associate (PhD student)
(pay scale E 13 TV-L, 100 percent. Information on this can be found in this link.)
The project aims to optimally allocate available quantum and classical resources a developer needs for a specific algorithm, by breaking larger circuits into smaller pieces that are distributed to different quantum processing units in parallel, with few quantum connectives between them, and then recombining the results.
Paderborn University is a high-performance and internationally oriented campus univer-sity with around 20,000 students. In interdisciplinary teams, we shape future-oriented research, innovative teaching and the active transfer of knowledge to society. As an im-portant research and cooperation partner, the university also shapes regional develop-ment strategies. We offer our more than 2,600 employees in research, teaching, technol-ogy and administration a lively, family-friendly and fair working environment with short decision-making processes and a wide range of opportunities.
The newly established Mathematical Quantum Information research team at RIKEN is recruiting two postdoctoral researchers for a period of 2 years each. The positions can begin as soon as possible.
The successful candidates will work on the project "Foundations of quantum resources: mathematical theory for the structure and applications of quantum phenomena", which is a broad and open-ended investigation of the mathematical foundations of quantum information, and will offer a large degree of flexibility.
Topics of particular interest include: quantum resource theories, theory of entanglement, classical and quantum Shannon theory, convex optimisation problems in quantum information, quantum foundations.

We’re thrilled to announce that this year's Time in Quantum Theory (TiQT) conference will take place between 4th-7th September 2023 at the Castlecourt Hotel, Westport, Ireland. TiQT aims to bring together disparate communities, providing a common platform to discuss questions including:
- Fundamental limitations to time keeping: how accurate can physical clocks be? This includes, but is not limited to, models for clocks, quantum information theory, and thermodynamics.
Deadline: 30 June 2023 (or until the position is filled)
