Waveguide Quantum ElectroDynamics (QED) is an emerging area of quantum optics that investigates the coherent coupling between one or more quantum emitters and a photonic waveguide or, more generally, an engineered photonic bath.
The workshop aims at bringing together major experts working on this topic. This is the third edition of WQED workshops series. The first two editions were held in 2018 and 2021.

There is a PhD opening in the group of Fabian Hassler on `Exploring Majorana modes in van der Waals heterostructures' at the Institute for Quantum Information at RWTH Aachen University (www.rwth-aachen.de/cms/~bbllv).

Multiple postdoctoral positions are available at the Institute of Fundamental and Frontier Science (IFFS), University of Electronic Science and Technology China (UESTC) located in Chengdu, China. We are looking for highly qualified candidates to participate in a research project to develop applications for near term quantum computing devices. Candidates who are broadly interested in the area of quantum information and computing are encouraged to apply. Interviews are expected to begin from February 2023 and will be conducted on a rolling basis until all positions are filled.

We are offering a PhD position in the research area of Quantum Information Processing at RWTH Aachen University, Germany. The focus of the PhD will be on Quantum Error Correction and Fault Tolerance, in particular exploring practical implementations of dynamically generated logical qubits.

We offer 2 PostDoc positions in the groups of Stacey Jeffery (theoretical quantum computer science) and Ludovico Lami (quantum resources & entanglement) within the vibrant community of researchers at QuSoft in Amsterdam.

We offer 3 PhD positions to motivated students who want to work on fundamental questions in quantum information science. The positions are in the groups of Stacey Jeffery, John van de Wetering, and Ludovico Lami. Successful candidates will join the vibrant group of researchers at QuSoft in Amsterdam.

A permanent position is open at Telecom Paris, for an Assistant or Associate Professor in Quantum Computing and Information Processing.

The successful candidate will contribute to the activities of the newly created QURIOSITY team (that replaces former IQA team).
QURIOSITY is a joint Inria - IP Paris team, part of the LTCI laboratory within Telecom Paris.

We currently offer two postdoc and two Ph.D. positions in Theoretical Quantum Physics to well-qualified and highly motivated young scientists who want to advance their careers in a stimulating research-focused environment. The successful candidate will work in the Quantum Theory group led by Prof. Adolfo del Campo at the University of Luxembourg.

The Quantum Machines Unit at the Okinawa Institute for Science and Technology has openings for posts in

* Experiments in hybrid systems in the Quantum Machines Unit: Magnetic levitation/Optomechanics
* Theory of hybrid quantum systems in Quantum Machines Unit

The University of Bari (Italy) is expanding its research activity in quantum information science and technology.

We welcome applications from candidates interested in any aspect of theoretical quantum information science and technology. We currently have vacancies for up to six research fellows (deadline January 4th, starting date March 1st, 2023).

Selected candidates will be hired as fixed-term researchers (3-year, a more senior position than postdoc) and will be free to decide their research activities, within a wide range of “quantum” options.
