We're advertising a 3-year PhD position in the QURIOSITY Group of Inria Paris Saclay, based at Télécom Paris.

The successful candidate will work closely with Mirjam Weilenmann at the intersection of quantum foundations and quantum Information theory. A master's degree in Mathematics, Physics or Computer science is required, expertise in quantum information, quantum technologies and/or convex optimisation is further desirable. The starting date should ideally be in Autumn 2025, but there is some flexibility.

We are looking for a PhD candidate to contribute to the development of theoretical methods for studying reactive charge-transfer processes. When oppositely charged ions collide, the resulting dynamics cannot be fully described within the Born-Oppenheimer approximation. In collisions involving molecular ions, not only does charge transfer occur, but molecular bonds may also break or form. These processes are crucial for understanding how molecules are created and destroyed in the interstellar medium, yet our current knowledge of them remains limited.

The Quantum Matter and Information group at the Institute for Theoretical Physics (IFT) UAM-CSIC invites applications for a PhD position funded by the QUITEMAD project. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Daniel González-Cuadra, focusing on developing quantum simulation algorithms tailored to lattice gauge theories.

We are hiring an experimental research assistant within the Quantum Light and Matter group at Durham, working on quantum sensing with ultracold molecules in optical tweezer arrays. The Prasad Research Group in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Calgary is seeking motivated graduate students to work in the areas of computational chemistry, quantum computing, and machine learning. The selected applicants will conduct research under the direct supervision of Dr. Viki Kumar Prasad with available projects focusing on leveraging advanced computational methods to solve complex problems in reaction discovery, molecular modeling, and quantum simulations.

We are now accepting applications for the Quantum Center Research Fellowship Programme. These fellowships provide funding for PhD students and postdocs hosted by research groups of the Quantum Center at ETH Zürich.

The fellowships support innovative and original scientific research that aligns with the host group while fostering the fellow's independence. In addition, fellows will help further strengthen the community of PhD students and postdocs at the Quantum Center, for example by organizing technical exchange events or social activities.

Open call for a fully funded 4 year PhD position, supervised by Dr. Anthony Kiely at the School of Physics, University College Cork, Ireland. The project is in the area of theoretical quantum physics, so an undergraduate degree in physics or related discipline is an
essential prerequisite. Experience with quantum optics and programming (e.g. Python, Mathematica etc.) would also be beneficial. The project will investigate new methods for modelling continuous quantum measurements and leveraging these results for quantum feedback control.
