Two Phd positions on the control of quantum correlations and phase coherence in systems of cold Rydberg atoms are available. They will form the core activity of the research grant ‘Rydberg atomtronics’, recently funded by the Julian Schwinger Foundation, coordinated by Luigi Amico and Oliver Morsch.

Two PhD positions and three postdoctoral positions are available at Trinity College Dublin, in the groups of Prof. Felix Binder and Prof. Mark Mitchison. The studentships are fully funded with a stipend of €18,500 per year and will commence in September 2022. The postdoc positions are to start between 1 August 2022 and 1 March 2023 with a starting salary of €47,406 subject to annual increments. All positions come with adequate access to a travel funding and computing resources. See below for further details of the individual research group interests.
The group of Stefano Pironio is opening one PhD position and two postdocs positions to work on quantum correlations, quantum networks, device-independent applications, and the certification of quantum systems.
PhD position: We are seeking a motivated student with a background in physics/mathematics/computer science. Experience with or a desire to learn the programming language Julia is a plus.
Salary is 2,101.68€ net per month.
