PhD position in quantum information theory at Télécom Paris
Overview
Overview
I am recruiting PhD students for a newly formed group at the National University of Singapore (https://www.physics.nus.edu.sg/faculty/ernest-tan-ying-zhe/), on the topics of quantum information theory, quantum cryptography, and convex optimization applications in those areas.
The Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the University of Sarajevo (UNSA) invites applications for a fully funded PhD position within the Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions Doctoral Network (MSCA DN) QUESTING 101227218.
CQuERE, a centre of TCG CREST (DTBU), under School of Natural Sciences, is dedicated
to cutting-edge research and high-quality education in quantum computing, quantum
information, and quantum sensing, as well as training future researchers for academia and
industry. In the five years since its establishment, CQuERE has steadily advanced toward becoming a world-class research centre in quantum science and technology, fostering a stimulating research environment and bringing together researchers from India and abroad.
Coupling quantum emitters to the optical modes of a photonic lattice creates new opportunities for engineering exotic quantum light sources and developing novel quantum simulators with long-range interactions. It would allow studying non-classical states with spread entanglement and the implementation of strongly correlated phases of light.
Two openings in quantum memories in microgravity at Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin
Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin is advertising two research fellow positions in experimental quantum memories in microgravity at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Berlin.
Offer description: The Mathematical Institute of SAS offers a PhD position for research in quantum information theory, under supervision of Anna Jenčová http://www.mat.savba.sk/~jencova/index.html. The study is organized in cooperation with the Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics, Comenius University, Bratislava. The topic of study is the following:
Title: Quantum channels and higher order maps

The PhD position is within the Quantum Information Theory group led by Armin Tavakoli. The group includes both PhD students and postdoctoral PhD students. The group conducts theoretical research broadly within quantum information and the foundations of quantum physics and has frequent collaborations with international experimental groups. The group belongs to the division of Mathematical Physics where between 30 and 40 people work with theoretical research in many different branches of quantum physics, such as many-particle systems, open systems, nuclear physics, cold atoms and ultrafast optics.
The Quantum Information Theory group led by Prof. Michael Walter at LMU Munich is inviting applications for several PhD and postdoctoral positions. We are looking for excellent and highly motivated candidates in all areas of the field, including: quantum algorithms and complexity, quantum information theory, quantum cryptography, quantum information in many-body physics and space-time, quantum programming languages and formal methods, mathematical and computer science foundations and connections.
The Department of Mathematics of the University of Bologna has an opening for six PhD fellowships in mathematics. Applications in all areas of mathematics are welcome.
