The Quantum Information Group at Yukawa Institute for Theoretical Physics, Kyoto University, Japan is looking for a postdoctoral researcher to work on theory of quantum cryptography.
Depending on the qualification, the title of research assistant professor can be given.
The starting date is negotiable (but ideally as soon as possible), and the contract is by the end of March 2024.
We are an interdisciplinary research group in the Institute for Quantum Science and Technology at the University of Calgary. Our research is focused on the reversible quantum interface between the superconducting circuits and quantum optical systems. In our lab we are interested in developing quantum communication technology that is integrable with superconducting processors for building large-scale quantum networks.

We are seeking a talented postdoctoral research associate to work on an experimental project looking at evaluating quantum random number generators (QRNGs). This position is funded by the EPSRC’s Quantum Communications Hub and will be based at the National Physical Laboratory (NPL) in Teddington (London) in the Quantum Photonics team. The project will involve developing the necessary experimental understanding, expertise and techniques to test quantum photonic QRNGs.

We offer a 2-years post-doctoral position (with extension possible) for a motivated researcher to join our work on spin qubits in silicon carbide (SiC). Colour centres in SiC have recently be shown to uniquely combine excellent spin properties with ultrastable optical transitions for spin-photon interfacing (see, for example, our collaborative work published in Nature Communications 10, 1954).
