Argonne National Laboratory seeks candidates for multiple postdoctoral openings in quantum computing and networking. We are particularly interested in candidates in one of the following areas: (i) Development or optimization of quantum compilers, algorithms, or circuits (ii) Development of quantum network protocols and use of FPGAs, or (iii) Simulation of open quantum systems, noise characterization, and quantum error correction. Please apply as soon as possible at https://bit.ly/3lYwDOu.
We are looking for highly motivated candidates with a strong research
background and a PhD in quantum information with a focus on quantum
algorithms.
Past work in quantum algorithm design and/or quantum machine learning
and/or quantum optimization problems and/or quantum chemistry especially
with NISQ devices for real world applications will be a strong plus.
The Angelakis group at CQT Singapore (www.dimitrisangelakis.org) is looking for a postdoctoral research fellow with a strong research background and a PhD in quantum information with a focus on quantum algorithms and applications. Candidates from quantum simulations and quantum many-body physics, or implementations of quantum computing may also inquire as well.
Our leading group is concerned with research in quantum information theory, condensed matter theory and the intersection between the fields.
- We ask what information processing tasks are possible using single quantum systems as carriers of information. We think about the mathematical-theoretical foundations of quantum information, specifically about the theory of entanglement and questions of tomography, but also about ways of realizing topological quantum computing.

A post doc position is available in the lab of Dr. Louis Bouchard at UCLA to work on magnetic resonance (ESR, NMR) projects related to quantum science. Our group has pioneered the development of magnetic resonance techniques to probe condensed matter phenomena in topological insulators, crystalline insulators, Dirac semimetals, topological superconductors, etc. Some of these materials are now being developed for topological quantum computing. In recent years we have also had interest in gas phase diffusion phenomena and associated non-Markovian effects.

We cordially invite you to submit a paper presenting the results of original research in the area of quantum computing at the Quantum Computing Thematic Track in conjunction to be held in conjunction with the International Conference on Computational Science, June 16-18, 2021, Kraków, Poland.
Quantum computing is a new paradigm that exploits fundamental principles of quantum mechanics to solve problems in various fields of science that are beyond possibilities of classical computing infrastructures. Despite the increasing activity in both theoretical research and hardware implementations, reaching the state of useful quantum supremacy is still an open question. This workshop aims to provide a forum for computational scientists, software developers, computer scientists, physicists and quantum hardware providers to understand and discuss research on current problems in quantum informatics.
